Supply Chain/Raw Materials
At Chervan, we know lumber and we source it domestically and internationally. Finding the right materials to create your vision is invaluable to its quality. Our process allows us to interact with you at any time and will enable you to draw from our 87 years of experience. Should your project require a specialty wood, we can acquire that for you through our raw material contacts.
Our facility is equipped with state of the art furniture machinery. This allows us to provide shorter lead times and bring your product to life. We were the first manufacturer in the United States to apply CNC chair machining operations from Italy. There are only ten of these machines in the country and five of them are in our plant.
This program allows you to place blanket orders in advance of end demand utilizing shorter lead times and eliminating minimum cut quantities. You commit with a blanket order and we manage individual shipments as orders are placed decreasing delivery time. We will also ensure program management from our end and establish that inventory for your order is consistently maintained.
Our advanced finishing process takes your furniture along our one-mile-long track through the complete process of finishing including drying. Careful inspection and airbrush detailing takes place to ensure quality. Chervan offers 26 specialty finishes of our own for you to choose from. If by chance one of ours doesn’t fit your needs, we are more than happy to use your provided custom finish.
With our seasoned team of upholsterers, we are able to custom design frames to your liking using your provided fabric. Our upholstery process includes more than just textiles – foam, springs, hardware, and more are all part of the finishing details. Knowing this operation can be complex, we are happy to help and are willing to make suggestions based on our experience.
