All base legs are made from Northern soft maple which are either connected with a hum (Bases 6290, 6292, 6294) or uses a metal under structure for added strength (Bases 6298, 6298/1, 6300, 6300/1). All base heights can be adjusted hydraulically (Bases 6298/1, 6300/1) or manually (Bases 6290, 6292, 6294, 6298, 6300). The hydraulic lifts work best when used for task seating and the manual lift works best as a personal chair or for conference seating.
